Delivery & Returns Policy

UK Mainland Delivery Services​

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 working day of receipt. Occasionally public holidays, weekends, weather events, or extremely busy periods may result in extended delivery times. In these circumstances, we will endeavour to communicate with you about the delay and resolve and resulting issues.

We strongly advise not to book your fitting labourer until you are in full possession of the items ordered. BUY-FLOORING-ONLINE will not be liable for any costs incurred due to a delay in deliveries.

Due to the nature and size of our products, we use a variety of couriers. We will use the most suitable courier for your delivery depending on the size of your order. Delivery of large quantity orders and/or bulky items will be made on a pallet to the kerbside. Please ensure you make arrangements to take the delivery into your property.

Before signing off the courier, the customer must check that the goods have been delivered in good condition. Failing to check will invalidate your claim for transit damages.

Processing, Packaging & Dispatching Orders

Please note that we do not make delivery date promises, however:

Once the order has been processed, an email will be sent to notify the customer of the courier’s tracking number.
Free, Standard & Express Delivery Timings: Your delivery will be made between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm Monday-Friday
Saturday Delivery Timings:
Your delivery will be made between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm on a Saturday date selected at the checkout

Collection From Our Store

Our Free Click & Collect service is currently available from our warehouse in North London.

When placing an order on our website, simply add your items to the basket and select the “Collect From the Store” Shipping Method at the checkout. Once your order is placed and payment completed you will receive an order confirmation email.

All Click & Collect items will be ready for collection within 1 hour after the order is placed, provided the order is placed within our opening hours. If your order is placed outside our working hours, your items will be ready for collection by 10 am on the next working day.

Simply send us an email at [email protected] or give us a call at 020 8037 9300, quote your order number and let us know when you would like to pick up your order.

    • COLLECTING IN PERSON – You will be required to provide your unique order number which can be found on your Order Confirmation email. A copy of this email should be shown at the point of collection. This email can be on your phone/tablet, you do not need to print a hard copy. You’ll also need to show the card you have used to pay for your item along with signing to confirm you have picked up your order. Should you have paid by PayPal, you will be required to show a Photo ID in-store.
    • SOMEONE COLLECTING FOR YOU – They will be required to give your unique order number which can be found on your Order Confirmation email. A copy of this email should be shown at the point of collection. This email can be on your phone/tablet, you do not need to print a hard copy. They will also need to provide a Photo ID for themselves and sign to say they have collected the item on your behalf. They will also be required to give their full name.
    • PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BAG – Please help us on our sustainability journey by bringing your own reusable bag, where possible, when collecting your order.

You’ll have 14 days from the day you placed your order to collect your item from our warehouse. If your order hasn’t been collected within this period we’ll have to cancel your order and issue a refund. We will send you a reminder email 7 days prior to the deadline.

    • Monday-Thursday: 09:00 am – 5:00 pm
    • Friday: 09:00 am – 1:00 pm
    • Saturday & Sunday: Closed

You are welcome to use our customer car park during your collection, provided it is not during the supplier deliveries, as access to the car park will most likely be restricted by HGV lorries. You may use street parking instead, but please ensure to pay parking fees where required.

Out-Of-Zone Locations

  • Unfortunately, due to courier restrictions, we are not able to deliver to the locations listed below:
    • Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Western Isles, Shetland Isles, Orkney, Isle Of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland
  • In addition, we do not deliver to any locations with the postcodes listed below:
    • IV27, IV40 –> IV49, IV51 –> IV56
    • KA27, KA28
    • PA28, PA29, PA40 –> PA49, PA60 –> PA80
    • PH39 –> PH44

Return Of Faulty Items​

  1. BUY-FLOORING-ONLINE complies with Distance Selling Regulations.
  2. Unused faulty items will be replaced provided that the customer informs Buy-Flooring-Online of the defect, and provides photographic evidence by emailing [email protected] within 7 days of receiving the goods. If you are unsure if it’s faulty DO NOT use it as once it has been used you will not be eligible for a refund, full or partial.
  3. Buy-Flooring-Online will arrange for the collection of faulty items, which will normally be replaced or refunded within 7 working days of their return to our depot, provided the customer notifies Buy-Flooring-Online within 7 days of purchasing.
  4. Please note that for us to issue a refund we need to receive the item(s) back to our warehouse in its original packaging and condition. The item must NOT be opened, used or damaged in any way (including time in transit). If the item is received damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

Return Of Unwanted Items

  1. The customer must inform BUY-FLOORING-ONLINE by emailing [email protected] within 14 days of receiving goods for any unwanted items.
  2. Item must be returned to us within 14 days of authorisation to return.
  3. The buyer is to arrange and pay the return shipping cost for the unwanted item.
  4. Please note that for us to issue a refund you will need to send the item back to our warehouse in its original packaging and condition. The item must NOT be opened, used or damaged in any way (including time in transit). If the item is received damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund. Goods are in the care of the buyer until it safely delivered and signed for at our warehouse.
  5. Shipping & Delivery charges will not be refunded.
  6. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving the item.
  7. PLEASE NOTE that we DO NOT offer refunds for Underlay & Beading Samples
